1. The service

KINESTA is an iPhone app for health professionals that estimates angles and timings from 2D video and generates reports. It is provided by KINESTA.

2. Clinical use

KINESTA is a screening and monitoring tool. It is not a diagnostic medical device and does not replace clinical judgement. 2D measurements have limitations (typical error of 4–7° compared with 3D systems), stated in every report.

3. Your responsibilities

You confirm that you are qualified to practise, that you inform your clients and obtain their consent to film them and process their data, that you keep your iPhone secure, and that you interpret results in their clinical context.

4. Subscription

The subscription includes a 1-week free trial for new subscribers and then €10 a month, renewed automatically by Apple until cancelled in your App Store settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies.

5. Intellectual property

The app, the KINESTA brand and its content belong to KINESTA. Reports you generate may be shared freely with your clients.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, KINESTA is not liable for clinical decisions made on the basis of the reports, or for loss of data stored on the device.
